Liberating thoughts

I feel I have abandoned this blog for a while. I started working for the University of Southampton in a ESRC funded project last September, and ever since I have been focused on doing that job, and doing it well, so I neglected this blog. It was a fixed-term contract, so next week it will end. In fact, the actual contract ended on the 30th May, but we agreed on extending for another 4 weeks.

Today I applied for another job, which I am aware I don’t have many chances. But, as someone said, I have nothing to lose by applying, and it is always a positive experience. That is if one enjoys learning as much as I do anyway. Now that I pressed the “submit” button, I felt such a liberating sensation. That sensation brought me back here, to this almost forgotten blog. So, here I am, dropping dripping words again.

However, this may be a furtive visit, so you pretend you didn’t see me. That’s because my conscious self has decided to find a way of making this blog more accessible to some people who I know. But that decision did not materialise yet. Thus, I am off. Cheerio.  Ta-ta. Ciao.

P.S.: But, as brilliantly said by Schwarzenegger (1984) “I’ll be back”.
