I developed this proposal in response to the current struggle experienced by professionals interested in the full inclusion of learners with special educational needs in mainstream school, moreover secondary mainstream ones. This was just an idea, a proposal, and remained just that. SO I cannot discuss any outcomes, as much as I cannot promise it would work perfectly. However, I saw elements of it working well with students who I worked with closely, hence the inspiration to this proposal, and I am convinced that would work really well, as long as having the right resources and the good will of those who believe in the potential of these youngsters and in the value of all their abilities more than in the paralysing power of disabling prejudice and human underestimation. Therefore, if you found this post because you were looking for some answers to difficulties to make inclusion happen at the same extent that learning and progression take place, then maybe you are the right person to collaborate with me in trying out this idea, or just adding to it, even if it remains an utopian paradigm. Please download the file, read it with care and open heart and mind, and come back to share your thoughts with me. I will be here eagerly waiting for your input.
