Planning a survey:
- Consider reliability and validaty of instruments
- Reliability: quality of the instrment itself
- Validaty: the right instrument to the purpose
Note: causality is not the big thing in social science. The former caused the latter isn’t easy to find in soc. science. Two events at the same time and same place dosn’t mena that one caused the other. Additionally, it’s hard to find which one came first.
